Rooting of conifer cuttings under plastic is not revolutionary new idea, but it appears to be a very simple method to use if large number of cultings are to be rooted. This method is know as a double tunnel propagation. From our initial results it is possible to be recommended for propagation programme, at least, for now, for Chamaecyparis lawsoniana cultivars. Further experiments are going to be continued with other conifer species.
