In the article are presented the differences in productivity of two phytocenoses of sessile oak (Querco-Carpinetum farnettosum and Quercetum montanum genistetosum) on leached acid-brown soil. Higher values of all measured elements were found in the phytocenosis Querco-Carpinetum farnettosum, the total wood volume being about SO% higher. Also natural regeneration was better in this plant community, the number of plants in the stage of young crop being 282% higher than in the phytocenosis Quercetum montanum genistetosum.
