In the article the author describes the construction and the application of a new device - ,,autoreducing comer pattern" - which was made on the basis of the first B i t t e r l i c h's relascope. The maximum negative systematic error by reduction of the horizontal visible comer, which does not exceed 0,01% is practically negligible. The device is successfully used more than 10 years in normal forest management in SR of Serbia.
