In this paper the experimental material consists of two-year old Douglas firs (Pseudotsuga taxifo/ia Britt.) from different provenances. The test of32 provenances includes practically the entire range of this species. In order to select the suitable provenances, we researched the dependence of two-year old Douglas fir heights on latitude, longitude and altitude.

Eksperimentalni materijal koji je istraživan (testiran) u ovom radu su dvogodišnje biljke duglazije (Pseudotsuga taxifolia Britt.) različitih provenijencija. Testom od 32 provenijencije obuhvaćen je praktično ceo prirodni areal ove vrste. U cilju izbora odgovarajucih provenijencija istraživana je zavisnost visine dvogodišnjih biljaka duglazije od geografske širine, geografske dužine i nadmorske visine.
