Abstract: The starting point of this work is a formal document which, depending on the university in Serbia, bears different full titles, but contains similar or the same provisions concerning professional ethics and academic integrity of employees at universities in Serbia, both those founded by the state and those that are not state-founded (so-called private universities). A comparative legal analysis of the provisions of these documents can provide information on the attitude of these institutions towards the basic principles and standards of higher education activities, as well as indications of how much they value and at what level the perception of academic education in Serbia is.

Kratak sadržaj: Polazna osnova ovog rada jeste formalni dokument koji, u zavisnosti od univerziteta u Srbiji nosi različit pun naziv, ali sadrži slične ili iste odredbe koje se tiču profesionalne etike i akademskog integriteta zaposlenih na univerzitetima u Srbiji, kako onih čiji je osnivač država, tako i onih čiji osnivač nije država (tzv. privatnih univerziteta). Uporednopravna analiza odredbi ovih dokumenata može pružiti informacije odnosa datih institucij prema osnovnim načelima i standardima delatnosti visokog obrazovanja, kao i indicije prema tome koliko se vrednuju i na kom nivou svesti se nalazi percepcija akademskog obrazovanja u Srbiji.
