В статье рассматривается художественное творчество сербов на Косово и Метохии, которое является одним из важнейших выражений духовности, культуры и идентичности сербского народа. Его специфика заключается в глубокой укоренённости в православной традиции, символике и культурном Др Звездана М. Елезовић/Др Весна О. Милојевић/Др Зоран Недељковић Институт сербской культуры, Приштина/ Лепосавич; Университет наследии, а также в развитии аутентичного художественного языка, соответствующего современным художественным тенденциям. Сегодня изобразительное искусство сербов Косово и Метохии развивается в особых условиях, поскольку часть художников находится в изгнании и продолжает творить за пределами родного края.

Opis (eng)

In this paper, we discuss a work of fine art that is universal in its basic form. Both for the Kosovo theme and for the national corpus of Serbs from Kosovo and Metohija, as well as for the Serbian people as a whole, the fundamental narrative is the Kosovo myth, which is a crucial aspect of the history and identity of the Serbian people. The search for identity presupposes a reexamination of not only ethnic and national, but also universal cultural values. Seen in the light of the fine arts, identity encompasses and unites specific Kosovo motifs, essential elements of the Serbian people‘s identity, elements of European identity, and influences from world cultural heritage. With their works, artists question the status of freedom and justice for Kosovo Serbs. They express despair and rebellion against the inexorable forces of injustice, and their works thus acquire not only aesthetic but also documentary value. Also, Kosovo artists demonstrate modernity in their creative techniques. They express national archetypes through contemporary painting and sculpture.
