Economic security in the function of national security

Сажетак Остварени резултати националне економије имају посебан значај на остварење примарних интереса државе. Све државе настоје да кроз економски систем остваре своје циљеве како на микро тако и на макро нивоу. Остварењем циљева националне економије држава ствара услове и за остварење функција националне безбедности. У том контексту економски систем је подсистем система националне безбедности. Својом активном улогом, држава настоји да кроз развој и изградњу економских потенцијала оствари оптималане услове за изградњу система безбедности. Недостатак или ограниченост економских ресурса нужно продукује пад економске безбедности, а тиме и пад привредних активности. Управо зато, потребно је креирати адекватан система алокације економских ресурса на носиоце економске и националне безбедности.
Resume Economic security is a complex socio-economic category affected by the state of stability of the economic system and its independence, the external and internal endangerment factors, the interests of protecting the national economy, the monetary, technical and technological and market capabilities, the industrial and financial stability of the state, as well as measurements of the state authorities for solving the problem of getting out of the economic threats and overcoming the existing (undesirable) state. For economic security to be feasible, it's necessary to achieve the desired goals in the framework of the national economy. Therefore, the system of the national economy creates the conditions for realizing the goals of economic security. Through the available economic resources, the national economy together with an economic policy are an element of the system of national security policy. At the same time, they represent the economic, social, political, and every other potential of a country. This means that economic resources are the foundation of the economic and therefore national security of a country. Achieving the security goals and the determined jurisdiction of the state is not possible without the appropriate economic potential. Therefore, we could say that economic security is part of a function of the system of national security and that it represents the protection of the economic interests of the national economy from all shapes, forms and types of threat. In other words, it represents a system of economic and security protection of a country without any threat to the economic potential of the national economy. The creation of the economic potential of a country should be done by rationally allocating economic resources with an active role of being the bearer of economic security. The lack or the limitation of economic resources invariably causes a decline in economic security and therefore a decline in industrial activities. It is only possible to achieve economic security if the economic potentials of a country are growing. In order to prevent any threat to its security, the state must form certain authorities and institutions that should aim to achieve goals in protecting economic and national security. In this regard, the jurisdictions of certain national institutions are determined by legislative acts. These institutions maintain national interests regarding national security. With its own measures, the state must follow the risks and threats to economic security.
