Sarothamnus scoparius W i m m. is a complexly useful kind of shrubs. It was introduced in Serbia from Denmark in 1955 yr. and soon it had become a very spread species in forest and park plantations. It is pointed out that this species, because of its qualities should be much more used in the future afforestation works like game food and shelter. In that way the damages ,in the expensive forest plantations would be reduced.
