An experimental green area was erected around working site of REIK ,,Kolubara" with the objective of recultivation of degraded soils and investigation of the influence of vegetation on reduction of airpollution with coal dust particles, noise, wind, dust, better watersupplying of wells etc. Over 1000 species, varieties and forms of coniferous and broadleaved trees and shrubs and different sorts of roses were planted.
