To arrange unoccupied and green areas, respecting the hystory of a place, and at the same time to make them important, symbolic, means to create the identity of this place. Beside its funcionality, the green growth of a city must bear the message of the present, but at the same time to be the monument of the past. The green growth doesn't protect the citizens only against the noise and air pollution, but also against the oblivion, loss of sense and authenticity. Therefore, it should be necessary to utilize the vegational two-zonality of Belgrade, i. e. of its central zones which make a transition area between Connexions Aceri tatarici Quercion Z o l. et Jack. and Quercion frainetto Ht., what might be even emphasized by the corresponding green growt, in order to add to the authenticity of Belgrade some new and important factors.
