In the article are exposed the results of investigation of status and development of beech reservation "Vinatovača". The reservation is situated at the sea level of 640 to 800 m, on northeastern exposition, on acid-brown soil on chlorite- serite schists, belonging to the plant community of Fagus moesiaca montanum serbicum R u d., dentarietosum J o v. fac. alliosum ursini. The reservation shows a very high productivity. The current volume increment was more than 10 m3/ha and the total wood volume, beside the reduced number of trees, was 891 m3/ha.
