The present state of productivity of beech - fir forests on Pobijenik in South-West Serbia is mainly bad as the consequence of unregular management. For that reason the investigation of their potential production possiblities was made on only four localities, in uneven-aged stnds, which total wood volume per ha exceeded 400 m3. This investigation has shown that the association of beech and fir on Pobijenik can realize a moderate and on some localities more than average wood production, especially of fir wood.
