PRILOG PROUČAVANJU TERMIČKOG REŽIMA STANIŠTA JUŽNIH I JUGOZAPADNIH EKSPOZICIJA IBARSKE KLISURE
CONTRIBUTION TO THE STUDY OF THERMIC REGIME OF THE SITES OF SOUTHERN AND SOUTHWESTERN SLOPES OF IBAR GORGE

In the article are given the results of a study of thermic regime of the sites of southern and southwestern slopes of Ibar Gorge, which are artificially afforested in summer time, by using containerized seedlings. The objective of this work was to get necessary informations for planning methods and afforestation techniques during summer time. The stationary measuring of temperatures was made in 1981, during 13 spring and summer days, on a S-SW exposure of 20° of inclination, at the sea level of 500 m. The uncovered thermometers were placed at following levels: at soil level, in the air at 5 and 10 cm above soil and in the soil at 5, 10, 15 and 20 cm of depth. The measuring was made each hour, from 8 to 16 h . The mean daily temperatures at soil surface were very often higher than 40°C. Similar, but a little lower values were registered in the air at 10 cm and in the soil up to the depth of 10 cm, At depths of 15 and 20 cm the mean daily temperatures were noticeably lower. The maximal daily tmnperatures are very high. During dry, summer months the soil surface very often warms up over 40°C and during some days over 50°C. The air layers at heights of 5 and 10 cm reach a maximal temperature of 41 °C, the soil layer at 10 cm of depth 34.0°C, while those at 15 and 20 cm of depth 29.5°C and 28.0°C. The day-night amplitude on the soil surface reached in June 42.0°C, being 36.0°C for the most part of the summer. The average value calculated fort the whole investigation period was 32.1 °C. During dry summer days temperature of the soil surface most often exceeded 40.0°C during 6 hours, the average value being 44.6°C.
