Сажетак: У раду је дат кратак приказ трагедије српског народа у Босни и Херцеговини током Другог светског рата која је после победе и ослобођења зарад политичког циља садржаног у прокламовању партијске идеологије „братство и јединство“ у великој мери заборављена. Заборав доводи до со- цијалне и националне атрофије, што се посебно испољило кроз уставни развој СФРЈ услед чега је процес разбијања Југославије почетком деведесетих година прошлог века био олакшан, уз понављање трагедије на деловима југословен- ске територије, како српског тако и других народа. Циљ овог рада је да укаже на неке од најважнијих процеса који су укључивали заборављање на искуство прогона, а које је допринело понављању трагичних догађаја, али и истовреме- но, да укаже на основну политичку идеју од раних деведесетих, тако да се стра- хоте Другог светског рата се не понoве за српски народ у Босни и Херцеговини. Такве идеја постоји и данас – још јача него раније, и указује на потребу очувања идеје очувања Републике Српске у свим политичким и правним процесима, увек и на сваком месту, што представља основну баријеру забораву и прогону.
Abstract: The paper gives a brief overview of the tragedy of the Serbian people in Bosnia and Herzegovina during the Second World War, which after the victory and liberation, for the sake of the political goal contained in the proclamation of the party’s ideology „brotherhood and unity“, was largely forgotten. Forgetting leads to social and national atrophy, which was especially manifested through the constitutional development of the SFRY, as a result of which the process of breaking up Yugoslavia in the early nineties of the last century was facilitated, with the repetition of the tragedy in parts of the Yugoslav territory, both on Serbian and other peoples. The purpose of this paper is to point out some of the most important processes that included forgetting about the experience of being persecuted, and which contributed to the repetition of tragic events, but at the same time, to point out the basic political idea since the early nineties, so that the horrors of the Second World War are not repeated for the Serbian people in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Suchan idea exists even today - even stronger than before, and points to the need to preserve the idea of preserving the Republika Srpska in all political and legal processes, always and in every place, which represents the basic barrier to oblivion and persecution.
