By using plastic slides for hauling of short wood assortments from the logging unit to the upper landing, no other mechanization is needed, saving in that way fuel and financial resources. The stacking of fuel wood into cords is done only once on drive road, what makes working process most rational. There are also important savings in production costs, since hauling of assortments was made by using gravity. The approximative normatives for tree felling and bole cutting are obtained (4.26 m3/working day for one worker, resp. 13.94 min/ tree). However the total dayly output per working day for one worker is 2.63 m3, since the same group of woodcutters is working on tree felling, branch pruning, bole cutting, putting the wood down the slide and stacking of wood into cords on drive road.
