In the article are presented the results of preventive treatment and fertilization on containerized seedling production of the following broadleaved species: Quercus rubra, Acer pseudoplatanus, Fagus moesiaca and Celtis australis. The experiment was set up in five vaniants: 1. - treatment with Benomil; 2. - treatment with copperoxychloride; 3. - treatment with copperoxychloride in combination with NPK fertilizer; 4. - treatment with NPK fertilizer and 5. - control. The obtained results show that the application of protective measures has a positive effect on survival of seedlings of A. pseudoplatanus and Qu. rubra. Also fertilization has a positive influence on better growth of all studied species.
