Šumske sastojine sa edifikatorskom ulogom tise (Taxus baccata L.) u Točilovu na padinama Jadovnika i pored reliktnog karaktera i izloženosti degradacionim procesima odlikuju se velikom stabilnošću i jasno izdiferenciranim karakterističnim skupom drvenastih i zeljastih vrsta. Specifičnost ove mezofilne lišćarsko-četinarske zajednice ne proističe samo iz florističkog sastava, vec iz geoloških, pedoloških i klimatskih uslova koji vladaju u ovom refugijalnom području.

Regardless of the relict character and degradation process, forest stands with the edifying role of yew (Taxus baccata L.) in Toc!ilovo on the slopes of Jadovnik are marked by great stability and clearly differentiated typical group of broad-leaved and coniferous species. Specifity of this mesophyllous community of both broad-leaved and coniferous trees does not arise only from its floristic structure, but also from geological, pedological and climatic conditions prevalent in this refugial site.
