Istraživan je uspeh izvršenih pošumljavanja goleti i stanje šumskih kultura na širem području Vlasine. Na ovom području, od 1978. godine, pošumljeno je 7165 ha, sadnicama smrče, belog i crnog bora. Sada se pod kulturama nalazi 6928 ha, a 237 ha podignutih kultura uništeno je u požarima. S obzirom na vrstu drveća, struktura površina pod kulturama je sledeća: smrča 4680 ha, beli bor 1315 ha, crni bor 925 ha i molika 8 ha. Analizirana je struktura površine pod kulturama prema: procentu prijema, ekspoziciji, nagibu terena i nadmorskoj visini. Podaci pokazuju da nije bilo većih promašaja u prostornom rasporedu vrsta drveća pri pošumljavanju. Prosečni procenti prijema kultura iznose: smrča 75,8%, beli bor 75,0% i crni bor 69,5%. U kulturama treba izvršiti popunjavanje, a negde i ponovno pošumljavanje. Zdravstveno stanje kultura ocenjeno je kao jako dobro.

The success ofbareland afforestation and the state of forest plantations in the wider area of Vlasina was researched. Since 1978 in this region 7165 ha have been afforested with spruce, Scots pine and Austrian pine seedlings. Presently, there are 6,928 ha under plantations, and 237 ha have been destroyed by forest frres. The structure of the plantations is as follows: spruce - 4,680 ha, Scots pine - 1,3 I 5 ha, Austrian pine - 925 ha a:nd Macedonian pine - 8 ha. The structure of plantation area was analyzed according to: survival percentage, exposure, slope, and altitude. The data show that there were no greater failures in the spatial distribution of tree species in afforestation. The average survival percentages in the plantations are: spruce 75.8%, Scots pine 75 .0%, and Austrian pine 69.5%. The plantations should be restocked, and some sites require reforestation. Plantation health state has been evaluated as very good.
