U ovom radu je proučavana dinamika brojnosti i struktura (starosna i polna) populacije jelenske divljaci u lovištu Kozara, kao i vrednost trofeja i starosna struktura ulovljenih jelena. Struktura populacije jelenske divljači je u proučavanom periodu bila poremećena u poređenju sa optimalnim vrednostima za ovu vrstu divljači. Pre svega, utvrđena je velika gustina naseljenosti koja je iznosila više od 12 grla na 100 ha. Vrednost trofeja ulovljenih jelena u ovom lovištu je visoka. Međutim, na osnovu analize trofejne i starosne strukture ulovljenih jelena utvrdili smo da se na kraju proučavanog perioda uprkos većem odstrelu starih jelena smanjio broj grla u zlatnoj medalji, dok se značajno povećao broj grla u srebrnoj i bronzanoj medalji.

The dynamics of abundance and structure (age and gender) of deer population was studied in the hunting ground Kozara, as well as the trophy value and age structure of hunted deer. Deer population structure during the study period was disturbed compared to the optimal values for this game species. First of all, a high population density was recorded amounting to more than 12 heads per 100 ha. The trophy value of deer hunted in this hunting ground is high. However, based on the analysis of the trophy and age structure of hunted deer, it was concluded that at the end of the study period, despite the greater shooting of old deer, the number of heads with golden medals was reduced, while the number of heads with silver and bronze medals increased significantly.
