MOGUĆNOST PROIZVODNJE SADNICA JOVE I BAGREMA NA RAZLIČITIM SUPSTRATIMA
The establishment of an increasing number of nurseries for the production of forest and horticultural planting stock increases the demand for peat as the basic substrate. The limited amount of peat imposes the use other organic substrates. Tree bark, as a waste material in wood industry and pulp industry, can be converted by the process of composting into a form suitable for the use as a partial substitution for peat. Earthworm soil is also suitable for the substitution of a part of peat in the mixtures used in nursery production of different plant species. We investigated the production of alder (Alnus glutinosa L. Gaertn.) and black locust (Robinia pseudoacacia L.) seedlings by applying different mixtures of peat, humified bark and earthworm soil in containers. The study results show that it is possible to produce good quality alder and black locust seedlings in the substrate in which a percentage of peat was substituted.
Osnivanje sve većeg broja rasadnika za proizvodnju šumskog i hortikulturnog sadnog materijala povećava potrebu za korišćenjem treseta kao osnovnog supstrata. Ograničene količine treseta zahtevaju pronalaženje i korišćenje drugih organskih supstrata u proizvodnji sadnog materijala. Kora drveta, kao otpadni materijal u industriji prerada drveta i industriji celuloze, moze se procesom kompostiranja prevesti u oblik pogodan za koriscenje kao delimicna zamena tresetu. Glistenjak je, takmte, pogodan za supstituciju jednog dela treseta u supstratima koji se koriste za proizvodnju razlisitih biljnih vrsta u rasadnicima. lstraZivana je mogucnost proizvodnje sadnica jove (Alnus glutinosa L. Gaertn. ) i bagrema (Robinia pseudoacacia L.) koriscenjem supstrata u razlicitim mesavinama treseta, humificirane kore i glistenjaka u kontejnerima. Dobijeni rezultati pokazuju da je moguce koriscenje supstrata gde je izvrsena supstitucija treseta u odredenom procentu za proizvodnju kvalitetnih sadnica jove i bagrema.
