ISPITIVANJE NEKIH FIZIOLOŠKIH KARAKTERISTIKA GLJIVE PLEUROTUS OSTREATUS (JACQ. EX FR.) KUMMER
The successful rearing of the fungus Pleurotus ostreatus requires the best possible knowledge of its basic physiological characteristics. As the success of the cultivation depends on the temperature and the substrate, they were the subjects of the laboratory study. The effect of temperature on mycelium growth was studied on two P. ostreatus isolates in the interval of 0-34°C. The effect of different media on mycelium growth was analysed on the media of malt extract (5 Be sugar) and agar (2%), and combined Lutz medium in which poplar sawdust was extracted instead of beech sawdust.
