Abstract: Starting from the fact that the achieved level of economic development in modern social conditions largely determines the quality of overall social relations, the need to further explain the issue of growth and development is logical. Th e subject of this paper research is the analysis of economic freedom of the Visegrad Group countries, as well as Serbia through innovative and conventional indicators in the period 1995-2020. with the aim of analyzing the data to show how the economies of the countries from group V4 have moved over the decades and what has infl uenced the improvement or deterioration of the situation in these countries.

Sažetak: Polazeći od činjenice da dostignuti nivo privrednog razvoja u savremenim društvenim uslovima u velikoj meri određuje kvalitet ukupnih društvenih odnosa, logičnim se nameće potreba da se pitanje rasta i razvoja dodatno objasni. Predmet istraživanja u radu je analiza ekonomskih sloboda zemalja Višegradske grupe, kao i Srbije putem inovativnih i konvencijalnih indikatora u periodu od 1995-2020. godine, sa ciljem da kroz analizu podataka prikažemo kako se privreda zemalja iz grupe V4 kretala kroz decenije i šta je to uticalo na poboljšanje ili pak pogoršanje situacije u ovim zemljama.
