Galanthus nivalis 'Tika'
Height (8-)10-12 cm. Bulb ± spherical, c. 10 mm in diameter. Leaves semi-erect, narrowly linear, 7-12 x (0.4-)0.5-0.6 cm at flowering, glaucescent; margins flat. Scape semi-erect, (12-)13-14(-15.6) cm long, bears a single flower on short pedicel. Flower c. 19 mm in diameter. Outer perianth segments shallowly concave, narrowly obovate, 14-16(-17) x 4-5 mm, white NN155D with a green 140B mark at the apex, bluntly pointed. Inner perianth segments cuneate, 8-9 x 4-5 mm, entirely green 140A except for narrow white NN155D margins and apex, paler near base; sinus minute. Ovary cylindrical. Flowering in February. but differs from 'Virescens' by a smaller green mark on the outer perianth segments that is confined to the apex (and mostly solid rather than consisting of green lines), glaucescent leaves, and earlier flowering time it is also a less demanding plant for growing.
