Sažetak: Rad analizira pravnu regulativu Evropske unije (EU) u vezi sa tržišnim manipulacijama i insajderskim informacijama. Proučava se razvoj pravnog okvira od usvajanja Direktive 89/592/EEC, poznate kao Insider Dealing Direktiva, do najnovije Direktive 2014/57/EU koja je stupila na snagu 2014. godine. Fokus je na mehanizmima sprečavanja i sankcionisanja tržišnih zloupotreba kako bi se očuvala integritet finansijskih tržišta u EU i povećala zaštita investitora. Rad takođe istražuje promene u pristupu regulaciji insajderskih informacija i manipulacijama tržištem, nudeći uvid u evoluciju pravne regulative u skladu s ubrzanim razvojem finansijskih tržišta. Kroz analizu relevantnih direktiva, rad pruža dublje razumevanje kako EU reguliše ova pitanja i osigurava jednak tretman učesnika na tržištima hartija od vrednosti.

Abstract: The paper analyzes the legal regulations of the European Union (EU) regarding market manipulation and insider information. The development of the legal framework from the adoption of Directive 89/592/EEC, known as the Insider Dealing Directive, to the latest Directive 2014/57/EU, which entered into force in 2014, is studied. The focus is on mechanisms for preventing and sanctioning market abuses in order to preserve the integrity of financial markets in the EU and increase investor protection. The paper also explores changes in the approach to the regulation of insider information and market manipulation, offering insight into the evolution of legal regulation in accordance with the accelerated development of financial markets. Through the analysis of the relevant directives, the paper provides a deeper understanding of how the EU regulates these issues and ensures equal treatment of participants in the securities markets.
