Abstract: Investments as a form of capital transfer are multifold significant for the countries in which the capital is invested. For the development of economic activity in themodernenvironment, the development of information technologies is alsonecessary. The digital economy, on the one hand, but also the digitization of economic activity, are necessary for the economic development of countries. Investment and information technologies should be seen as factors of economic and economic development, but also as mutually closely related phenomena. Investments are important for the development of information technologies, but information technologies are also important for investments. Investments that make a big contribution to the development of IT are portfolio investments. Portfolio investments are realized on the financial market, in which sense it is significant that this market is developed, but also that financial market institutes are developed and regulated. Portfolio investments gave a significant impetus to the development of IT, mostly due to their basic feature, which is that, the investors is not interested in managing the tech companies in which it has invested. The investor does not want to manage the company and therefore to direct the development of technological projects, but is only interested in profit, either from the increase in the value of shares, dividends or interest on bonds.

Apstrakt: Investicije kao oblik transfera kapitala su višestruko značajne za zemlje u koje se kapital ulaže. Za razvoj privredne aktivnosti u savremenom okruženju neophodan je i razvoj informacionih tehnologija. Digitalna privreda sa jedne strane ali i digitalizacija privredne delatnosti nužni su za ekonomski razvoj država. Investiranje i informacijone tehnologije treba sagledavati kao činiocce ekonomskog i privrednog razvoja ali i kao međusobno tesno povezane pojave. Investicije su značajne za razvoj infomracioih tehnologija ali su i infomracione tehnologije značajne za investicije. Ivnesticje koje daju veliki doprinos razvoju IT jesu portfolio investicije. Portfolio investicije se realizuju na finansijskom tržištu u kom smislu je značajno da je ovo tržište razvijeno ali i da su razvijeni i regulisani instituti finansijskog tržišta. Portfolio investicije dale su značajan podsticaj razvoja IT-a i to ponajviše usled njihove osnovne osobine a to je da investitro nije zainteresovan za upravljanje tech kompanijama u koje je investirao. Investitor ne želi da upravlja kompanijom a samim tim i da usmerava razvoj technoloških porjekata već je zainteresovan samo za dobit bilo od rasta vrednosti akcija, dividende ili kamata na obveznice.
