Сажетак: Корупција као економски и политички проблем представља негати- вну друштвену појаву које је у већој или мањој мери присутна у свим државама света. Првенствени циљ овог рада је да се сагледају и размотре најкарактеристичнији појавни облици корупције у Републици Србији како би се препознале њене специфичности, а након чега би се могло утицати на њено смањење. У оквиру овог истраживања посебна пажња је посвећена и значајнијим статистичким показатељима корупције, али и мита као ужег појавног облика, у Републици Србији са упоредним приказом истих података у региону Западни Балкан, а све како би се употпуности разумеле досадашње антикорупцијске мере и степен њихове ефикасности. Затим, начињен је осврт на кривичноправну и другу законску регулативу у Републици Србији којом се уређује питање заштите од корупције. Значај овог дела истраживања је у приказивању и сагледавању актуелних антикорупцијских мера. У последњем делу рада, изнети су закључци истраживања ове проблематике који се посебно односе на негативан утицај на економски систем државе, а након чега су предложене поједине антикорупцијске мере.

Summary: Corruption as an economic and political problem, represent negative social phenomena and it is more or less present in all countries of the world. The primary objective of this paper is that the review and discuss the most characteristic manifestations of corrupti- on in the Republic of Serbia in order to identify its specific features, and then it could be affected on its reduction. Further in the paper a special attention was paid to the major statis- tical indicators of corruption in the Republic of Serbia with is comparative review with same data in the region of the Western Balkans, all in order to fully understand the current anti- corruption measures and their level of efficiency. Furthermore a reference was made to the criminal and other legislations in the Republic of Serbia that are governing the issue of corruption. The importance of this part of the research is that it shows the current anticorruption measures. In the last part of the paper we have provided conclusions of the research about the issues which relate primarily to the negative impact on the economic system of the country, and after that we have proposed specific anti-corruption measures.
