The Vojvodina issue-between Vojvodina and the separatism in Vojvodina

Сажетак: Питање аутономије појединих регија на тлу Европе – све израженији и агресивнији ставови сецесионистичких покрета и политичких странака које се залажу за отцепљење делова појединих држава и стварање самосталних држава или њихово припајање неким другим државама – намеће се пред многобројне земље које с тим у вези имају историјске и традиционалне проблеме. Сецесија Косова и Метохије (КиМ) и подршка коју су албански сецесионисти добили од Сједињених Америчких Држава (САД) и највећег броја чланица земаља Европске уније (ЕУ), као и свих осталих који су признали независност КиМ, отвориле су „Пандорину кутију” сецесионистичких аспирација које – на основу косовско-метохијског преседана – своје захтеве, настојања, тежње и борбу сматрају оправданом, праведном, легитимном и легалном. Ставови међународне заједнице о питању признавања права на отцепљење појединих регија поставили су проблем „двоструких стандарда” о праву на отцепљење које није утемељено у међународном праву као централно питање примене међународног права у контексту једнакости држава да сачувају територијални интегритет и целовитост, од- носно, признавања права појединим регијама на отцепљење. Питање аутономног положаја Војводине, као друге српске покрајине, такође је већ дуже на „дневном реду” и неопходно га је трајно решити, како не би представљао латентан дестабилизирајући фактор и потенцијално жариште, тј. потенцијални извор безбедносних изазова који могу убудуће утицати на интегритет и развој Србије.
Abstract: The issue of autonomy of certain regions in Europe, growing and increasingly aggressive attitudes of secessionist movements and political parties, which advocate the secession of parts of individual states and the creation of independent states or their affiliation with some other countries, has become the issue which interests many other countries with traditional problems throughout their history caused by this issue. The secession of Kosovo and Metohija and the support which Albanian secessionists got from the USA, from most of the members of EU as well as from all the other countries which recognized Kosovo`s independence, have opened a Pandora`s box of secessionist aspirations, which, inspired by Kosovo and Metohija`s case, consider their own requirements, efforts, aspirations and struggle to be reasonable, fair, legitimate and legal. The views of the international community on the issue of recognition of the right to secession of certain regions have placed the problem of "double standards" on the right to secession, which is not justified in international law, as the central question of the application of international law in the context of equality of states to preserve the territorial integrity and wholeness, that is, recognition of the rights of the individual regions to secede. The issue of autonomous position of Vojvodina, as the other Serbian province, has long been on the "agenda". It also has been an issue that needs to be resolved, in order to prevent it from becoming a latent, destabilizing factor and a potential source of conflict, or a source of security challenges that may continue to affect the integrity and the development of Serbia.
